KARECOMAO
The Animation and Scientific Popularization Kit on MAOrais COralliens reefs and their preservation (KARECOMAO) created by Deep Blue Exploration, in collaboration with the Koural association, and thanks to the financial support of the French Office for Biodiversity will be made available free of charge in 2023 to various actors of environmental education in Mayotte: Centre de Documentation Pédagogique du Recorat de Mayotte, Mayotte Nature Environnement, EDD976 Network, etc.
It Includes:
- 1 model to explain the birth and evolution of a coral reef (MANERCO),
- 1 set of magnetic charts and vignettes to raise awareness of services and threats to coral reefs (SEMENO),
- 1 Coral Biodiversity Awareness Card Game (DIVERSIO),
- 1 card game to raise awareness of coral ecosystems, and more particularly symbiotic interactions between species (SYMBIO),
- 1 Photosynthesis experiment kit (including a set of cards to discover LUMINO photosynthesis),
- 1 experimental kit on the sensitivity of coral to ocean acidification and pollution.
- 1 3D building set of a coral reef reacting to light and temperature
It is aimed at an audience aged 10 years or older.
